LARS JAN is a director, artist, writer, and the founding artistic director of EARLY MORNING OPERA (EMO), a genre-bending performance + art lab. His original works have been presented by The Whitney Museum, BAM Next Wave Festival, and Sundance Film Festival.
In 2015, EMO’s HOLOSCENES was exhibited at the Pasadena Museum of California Art, Ringling Museum of Art, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
